Who Is God?
He is the Creator of ALL things!
Genesis 2:7; 18-25
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
He is made up of 3 individual persons—a trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
2 Corinthians13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
Human beings are also three in one: spirit, soul and body.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mankind is both male and female...
Genesis 1:27; 5:2
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Matthew 19:4
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mark 10:6
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
The trinity of God is called the "Godhead" in the Bible.
Acts 17:29
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Colossians 2:9
For in him [Christ] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
God the Father is the Highest Authority. He is the Head of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1 Corinthians 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him [Christ], then shall the Son [Christ] also himself be subject unto him [God, the Father] that put all things under him [Christ], that God [the Father] may be all in all.

hat ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
He is the Father of us believers:
Romans 1:7
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:3
Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:2-3
Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Ephesians 1:2
Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
God the Son is The Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 1:1-4
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
1 Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Corinthians 1:19
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
The Lord Jesus is the person of the Godhead who actually did all the work of Creating.
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God [Christ] created the heaven and the earth.
John 1:1-3; 14
In the beginning was the Word [Christ], and the Word was with God [the Father], and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him [Christ]; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
And the Word [Christ] was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his [Christ’s] glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Colossians 1:15-16
Who is the image of the invisible God [the Father], the firstborn of every creature: For by him [Christ] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him [Christ], and for him [Christ]:
Colossians 2:9
For in him [Christ] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
God the Holy Ghost is also God and His ministry is to teach us about the Son:
John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13; 6:19
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Ephesians 1:13; 4:30
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1 Thessalonians 4:8
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 1:14
That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
The Holy Ghost is also called the Holy Spirit in the Bible. The difference is that the word "Ghost" has to do with His personality, His power and His ministry. He is a real person, and not just some spiritual "force" like the Jehovah Witness’ teach. The word "Spirit" represents His presence:
Psalms51:11
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Luke 4:1
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
John 1:33; 7:39
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Hopefully this helps...Maranatha!
