G.A. Riplinger

There are so many attacks on G. A. Riplinger, personally, and her books.  Yet her books appear to be very believable and have much documentation. What do you know about this if anything? Her Book, New Age Bible Versions has convinced me and I believe the KJV to be correct.  But now I’m feeling a sense of frustration about the whole subject.

Yes, there are many attacks on this dear sister who has devoted her life on standing for the Truth of God's Word in our Authorized Versions. I would to God that more saints would stand as tough as she.

But no marvel! Satan has been attacking God's truth by trying to cast doubt (on inspiration and preservation, like the newer versions do today) from the beginning!

Genesis 3:1, 4
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said...

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

The goal is to knock down our Lord Jesus Christ from His rightful position of glory!

Psalm 62:4
They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

As far as what the gainsayers say...it is a bunch of people (some who are unsaved), and most who do not have a right to question things because they do not rightly divided God's Word, thereby are handling it deceitfully!

The fact of the inerrancy of the version of the bible that you trust is an issue of faith!

Fact is, either God gave us His Word perfectly and preserved it until our day, or He did not!

If He did, where is it in our language...the KJV? The NIV? Any other version? And if He did not, then He lied because He is eternal, and He said His Word is eternal, and He also said that He would preserve it!

So don't stress out or be frustrated about this.  If you believe God can and did preserve His Word perfectly for you, then you have it in that KJV. (if you study it out).

By the way, if we all will stand before God (and, we will!) and give an account of our lives like Paul said. And when we do, He will open up His word (I bet the Word that He opens up in Heaven to judge us all won't have errors!), and judge us out of it, and how we lived in it, then how could He be righteous to judge us if we did not have it perfectly!

If we are to live our life by it to the point that He judges us when we get to Heaven, is it not reasonable that we should have the exact same Words that He will use to judge us...just to be fair?!

Is it reasonable to believe that God has a perfect copy, but we don't, and yet He will hold us accountable to His perfect copy while we have errors! Non-sense to those fools who question whether we have God's Word perfectly in our language today! They think that they are wiser than God!

Romans 1:22
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools

1 Corinthians 1:19-21
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

If we don't have God's Word perfectly, then how can we know whether the gospel is really true?

If one part of the bible is error, would not that preclude that all of it is error as God can not lie!

Who gets to pick and choose which passages are right, and which ones are wrong? And what makes them qualified? Are they scholars? God's words looks down on scholars!!

Malachi 2:12
The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

No, God loves humble people who believe His Word and who believe that they can and do have it perfectly!

Here's God's promise...He magnifies His word above even Himself, and He preserves it!

Psalm 138:2; 12:6-7; 119:160
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

This is what I believe and trust, and every man must make that decision because God will judge all of us by His Word!

Romans 2:16
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Take courage.  Pray, and rest in that KJV. You will not regret it and you will be blessed!

Hopefully this helps...Maranatha!

  1. Gail Riplinger is a great woman of God and a great defender of the Word of God as it is given to us in the King James Holy Bible. I pay no never mind to the spurious, contemptible attacks being meted out against Gail Riplingers'
character, reputation and scholarly work. After all, just consider the source. Gail Riplinger draws a lot of flack from the Bible corruptors and Bible rejectors because she is right on target.
