Paul would say for some peoples’
sake, “I hope he postpones the rapture
for a few years so they can grow.”
So let’s redeem the time and grow.
Don’t be ready to leave this world; let’s be ready to build Christ in us
and in others.
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupt
communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use
of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Let’s be ready to get into Romans
through Philemon and get that doctrine in us, that’s the work of faith. Believe it
and let it work in us.
Philippians
2:12b
…work
out your own
salvation with fear and trembling.
Let us do the labour of love. Let’s have
the patience of the hope of glory as
we endure suffering.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without
ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in
our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
Don’t be ready to go home; be ready
to get the gospel in you and to others.
Romans
1:15a
So, as much as in me is,
I am ready to preach the gospel…
When Paul said that he was a debtor,
he knew this truth:
Romans
1:14
I am debtor both to the Greeks, and
to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
Paul built the gospel of grace up in
him and he was ready to give it to others and to suffer for Christ so that we
might reign together with him.
2 Timothy
2:12a
If we suffer, we
shall also reign with him
