How a Christian Can Avoid Suffering Loss

If God judged people as he should, there would be no one on earth except the body of Christ.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let me tell you something: where the body of Christ member will pay for murmuring against or disrespecting their apostle Paul is at the judgment seat of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

To disrespect Paul, his ministry, his message and his apostleship is to destroy yourself. You are destroying your reward because you have to love his message – the grace message of the mystery.

Romans 16:25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

If you don’t, you will lose reward. Paul says it like this:

2 Timothy 2:25-26
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Today the only way you can avoid being taken captive by Satan at his will (whether you are lost or saved) is to listen to Paul. Now if you are lost, Satan has you. He is waiting for you to die so you can go to hell. He wants to take human beings with him.

Luke 16:23
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

But if you are saved, he can’t take you to hell, but he can confuse you like he did Eve…

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said,

…so that you will suffer loss in the heavenly places.

1 Corinthians 3:15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

He attacks the message and the messenger. Paul tells Timothy:

2 Timothy 1:8
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord [i.e., the message of the cross and the grace of God], nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

[And that applies today, as well: the grace message is being corrupted with legalism by religious denominational Christendom, and the messenger—ambassadors of Christ following Paul as they follow Christ—are much maligned.]

1 Corinthians 4:16; 11:1
Wherefore I [Paul] beseech you, be ye followers of me…even as I also am of Christ.

Brother Richard Jordan said years ago that if you stay close to the message of the cross and the message of the Apostle Paul, you won’t go wrong; you will both save yourself from apostasy and them that hear thee.

1 Timothy 4:16
Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

That is what God wants you to do.
