Another
way we are to be found faithful in the doctrine, is not just by being built up
in it; but it is also by how we deal with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
2 Corinthians
5:11
Knowing therefore the
terror of the Lord,
we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made
manifest in your consciences.
Sinning
against your brother is huge.
1
Thessalonians 4:6
That no man go beyond and
defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the
avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
1
Corinthians 8:12
But when ye sin so
against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
Romans
14:10
But why dost thou judge
thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all
stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
There
are four categories that will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ, your...
sanctification
– growth
edification
– building up the work of faith
service –
the labour of love
suffering –
enduring to the end in the truth of the mystery.
God
will take all that is abounding to your
account throughout your life [as a believer]…
Philippians
4:17
Not because I desire a
gift: but I desire fruit [giving financially to Paul’s
ministry] that may abound to
your account.
…and
at the judgment seat of Christ, you will receive recompense, a reward.
2 Timothy
1:12
For the which cause I
also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have
believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have
committed unto him against that day.
The
Lord committed this doctrine to Paul; and, Paul committed his service to the Lord (i.e., building up the doctrine in himself and others, and suffering for it), and
the Lord will pay him back. He is going
to cash out his account, and not just him.
If you love his appearing and you love this grace doctrine, you will endure.
2 Timothy
4:8
Henceforth there is laid
up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that
love his appearing.
So
after the catching away, we will go to the judgment seat of Christ and be
judged. Then God will fill the positions
of rank and authority in the heavenly places with the body of Christ.
Colossians
1:16
For by him were all
things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and
invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or
powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Ephesians
1:21
Far above all principality,
and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only
in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Hopefully this helps!
