If you die today….

Has anyone ever loved you enough to ask that if you were to die today, would you know for sure you were going to heaven?

If you don’t know for sure that you have eternal life as a present possession then you need to have that question settled--and the good news is that you can!  

If you want to know for sure, believe what the word of God has to say…

Romans 5:8

God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You don’t have to…

 …move a muscle,

…pray a prayer,

…go to church,

…get baptized,

…give a tithe,

…join a church,

…give your heart to Jesus,

…repent of your sins,

…be sorry for your sins,

…give your life to Jesus, or

…make Jesus the Lord of your life.

Salvation is by faith alone and no works. 

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

It is by a heart and mind faith that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

When you believe that, God will give you eternal life as a present possession…

Romans 4:4-5

Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.  But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

…because he has forgiven all your sins, past, present and future—they were all future from the cross.

Colossians 2:13-14

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

He will give you an eternal inheritance in heavenly places. 

Ephesians 1:11a; 2:6

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance …

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

The earth belongs to Israel.  The heavenly places belong to the body of Christ.  He will give you that by faith alone.
