Time is short

A transcribed excerpt from the audio message:  What Is True Fellowship?
From the series on First Corinthians

I do believe we are living in the last days of the dispensation of grace. There is no time limit on it.  We have been living in the last days for a long time but with each passing day we get one day closer to God's longsuffering being ended…

Romans 9:22
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

…and his taking us home to our home eternal in the heavens by the rapture; and then fulfilling his prophetic program in the earth with nation Israel. That's the bible's past, present, and future; that is rightly dividing the word.

But now, just as in college where you major in certain things pertinent to the field you plan to go in.  For instance, if you want to be a doctor, you should major in biology and anatomy and other things that would help you be a physician. It would be foolish to be a journalism major and major in a lot of scientific courses.  Why? Because they are not going to be be pertinent to your vocation. Well it's just as foolish for us, as members of the church the Body of Christ, to spend all of our time in epistles and books of the Bible that aren't written to us and about us. When I say that it doesn't mean we can't study them, it means you don't apply them to you. When you are over in Matthew Mark Luke or John, or the book of James or Revelation or 1st John, 2nd John or 3rd John, it’s okay to study those books, I do. But, the way you study is different then the way religion and denominations study them. They study like Charles Stanley does in Matthew 6:14 and if you don't forgive your brother their trespasses, neither will God forgive you.

Matthew 6: 14 – 15
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

That is a true verse, if you are Israel living in time past or in the future. But when you rightly dividing the word of truth, that God does not withhold forgiveness to you and I living in the dispensation of grace. That is why you have to rightly divide. Because what Paul says God is doing today is different than what God was doing through the Lord's earthly ministry to the nation Israel in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and early Acts. My job is to give you sound Pauline doctrine; and when we do study other books of the Bible such as Hebrews and Acts to compare and contrast what God is doing with them in time past and in the future compared to with what he is doing with us today. Now it's really not that hard, it's simple; but it is hard when you wrest the scriptures for your own good (purposes). And that is what religious guys do in denominations: they mix lawn grace, prophecy and mystery and that ends up in confusion. If there are questions in your heart about the contradictions in the Bible and why the verses on healing don't work, and why this doesn't work and that doesn’t work.  That is confusion! God is not the author of all that Satan is and is it because of a lack of not rightly dividing the word.

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1 Timothy 1:3-7
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.  Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
