Why does God allow Satan
to do what he does? He wreaks havoc and
hinders godliness.
It’s because there is a battle, and an issue about the wisdom:
Who is the wisest? Who is worthy to be to be worshiped?
Everybody knows God is
the ultimate power; but he is not a bully; he’s not forceful…at this time. However, there will come a day he will pour
out his wrath on people in the future because they chose it. But now, he isn't trying to prove to anyone on earth or in the heavenlies [i.e., the fallen and
elect angelic beings] that he needs to be worshiped just because he can pound
them. What he will show each of us, and
particularly the angels, is that he is worthy of worship because he is the
wisest, as attested by the scriptures.
1 Timothy
1:17
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the
only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
So there is this battle
of wisdom and he allows the ancient Enemy, the Adversary, to do all he can to
thwart his plans; but, at every turn God catches him in his craftiness.
Job 5:13
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and
the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
That is the wisdom of
Almighty God! Remember, the heavens are not clean in God’s sight.
After the angelic rebellion, God put into motion his plan to redeem the
earth through mankind, the “first man” Adam; and, he will ultimately do it
through the “last Adam,” the Lord Jesus Christ.
As sons of God, the
angels didn't know how God the Father would reconcile the heavens. Now they do. God began to reveal to
the apostle Paul this one new man, which
is called the body of Christ.
Ephesians
2:15
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even
the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself
of twain one new man, so making peace;

Corinthians 1:24
But unto them which are called, both Jews and
Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
The mystery dispensation
of grace is, and how Jews and gentiles, in particular, in one body, would be taken up to the heavens by the Lord Jesus after
the judgment seat of Christ; and, that God the Father would then reconcile the
heavens back unto himself. The angels didn't know that before, as the mystery had been kept hid in God and wasn't revealed until it was told to Paul.
Ephesians
3:10
To the intent that now [in the dispensation of grace] unto
the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by
the church…
They now watch the church to learn
about this thing called grace. They see
that God is going to use this new creature, the body of Christ – the church,
which is his body. This is…
…the manifold wisdom
of God,
The
multi-faceted wisdom of God.
The angels watched how God was
redeeming the earth through this nation of Israel; but they still didn't know
how God would reconcile the heavens, which are currently unclean in his sight;
but he has a way to make them clean. And
now Satan knows that. He didn't before
because it was kept secret.
Romans
16:25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you
according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the
revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
People might ask you why this isn't being preached in churches today. It’s
because there is a policy of evil by
the Enemy to hide it from them. It was
hid from him and he’s trying to make sure it is hidden from every human
being. Satan and his angels hate
humanity. They hated Adam. God was mocking Satan and his angels when he
used the dust of the ground from this planet to create a dust man to begin this process [of redeeming the earth].
Genesis
2:7
And the Lord
God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Satan has been trying to thwart
God’s plan ever since and will continue until the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
So it is a show of wisdom…that is
why Satan is allowed to do what he does.
