Bro Ron's response...

Recently, an ‘Anonymous’  left a comment on the June 5, 2012 post, Armies of heaven.

"If we are in the heavenlies and Christ is here on earth,
we will be separated from Him."

Below is Bro Ron Knight’s reply…

Hi, Anonymous, thanks for the comment.

Yes and No. Physically yes...in the Prophetic program, God the Father promised the Hebrew people the PHYSICAL presence of His Son here on the earth in their kingdom. All this was told to us today in the dispensation of the grace of God  by our Apostle Paul.

Romans 15:8
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Romans 9:4-5
Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;  Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Genesis 12:3
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed

Psalms 132:11
The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

Isaiah 9:6-7
For unto us a child is born , unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor , The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Luke 1:31-33
And, behold , thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

So His PHYSICAL presence will be down here on the earth with Israel because God promised that to them for their own well-being and security. But remember we get something GREATER...we the Body of Christ get to be with God the Father...and the Father is greater than even the Son. And for some strange reason, in my years of dealing with saints, many seem to forget, or at least not be mindful that although our Lord will be down here on the earth, and we in Heaven, that we will also be with God the Father, who is even greater.

1 Corinthians 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

John 10:29
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away , and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice , because I said , I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

So let's not forget, that although our Lord's PHYSICAL presence will be on this earth (and we will still be able to see/visit/know Him, even though our main vocation will be in the Heavenly Places), we the Body of Christ have the great privilege and honour of abiding with our Heavenly Father!

And besides that, God the Father sees NO difference between Christ Jesus and us, His Body! He and we are ONE, spiritually speaking! Remember what our Apostle says.

1 Corinthians 6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit

1 Corinthians 12:12
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

So close are we to our Lord that God the Father sees us IN HIM!

Ephesians 5:30
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

So yes, we will be "separated" from Him physically, but not spiritually in the future earthly kingdom, but we will be with our Father, so that's a good deal.

Thanks again for the question “Anonymous”, keep them coming and keep reading our blog. And more importantly keep reading the 13 epistles of our Apostle Paul and you will continue to learn all these things about who God has made us IN CHRIST!

Grace and Peace.
Pastor Ron Knight.
