The Pauline epistles (letters written from one in authority) are written exclusively to us, exclusively for us, and exclusively about us (Jews and Gentiles, alike) in this dispensation of the grace of God...as given to Paul, our apostle. It is to our benefit and profit to read them, and take heed.
Ephesians 3:1-5
For
this cause I Paul, the
prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the
grace of God which is given me to
you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto
me the mystery; (as I wrote
afore in few words, Whereby, when ye
read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made knownunto the sons of
men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
Romans 16:25-25
Now to
him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching
of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,But now is made manifest, and by
the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting
God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
Little things do make a difference, and this is just one of them that can be utilized to the bible-believer's PROFIT.
~All scripture [every word, every jot, every tittle!] is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. [2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJB, emphasis added]
This is the beauty, simplicity, and excellent consistency God has integrated into his pure word of truth to aid the believer's study and understanding. This built-in study aide is not carried over in the corrupted modern versions...which is a testimony in itself to the very excellency of his perfectly preserved word, the King James Bible. (Try your own search using your favorite modern version.) Click here to find and see for yourself ~1,000+ instances where the word "specifically" can be substituted for the word "even," thus giving the reader the precise meaning and understanding of what the verse is specifically saying...from God's perspective, not man's! In the message, Bro Ron briefly mentions the controversy regarding Romans 8:17 (KJB). An in depth study on "Heirs of God or Joint-Heirs With Christ" is available for download. Click here.
~And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
